Galatians 5:13-26

I say, then, walk by the Spirit and you will certainly not carry out the desire of the flesh. Galatians 5:16

Last week, we looked in Romans 8 about how a person who is a believer in Jesus Christ is no longer obligated to live according to the flesh, but that the follower of Jesus is led by the Holy Spirit. The point in this is to be able to see the difference between the Holy Spirit and the flesh. In our text this week from Galatians 5, we have a clearer picture of the difference between the flesh and the Spirit, but also our active relationship with the Holy Spirit in our daily lives. When we walk in the Spirit, we will not gratify the desires of our flesh, and the difference will be obvious.
