The news of the resurrection of Jesus is the greatest news that can be shared in the world.  Since Jesus rose from the grave just like he promised, the sacrifice of Jesus on Friday is proved to be valid and lasting for the forgiveness of sins. However, not everyone responds to this news in the same way.  Matthew's Gospel highlights the varying ways that people respond to the resurrection of Jesus and what can follow from those responses.
