We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure. Hebrews 6:19

In last week's sermon, we were encouraged to press into the maturing work that God is trying to do in our lives. In following Jesus, we are invited to demonstrate our assurance of hope through the practice of diligence in imitating other people of faith in their belief and perseverance. This kind of expression of hope allows us to remain anchored in a tumultuous and challenging world. But what exactly are we hoping in? Even as we seek to imitate others who have expressed faith, we can potentially lose sight of where the true nature of our hope should be. In this week's passage, we explore the content of our continuing hope so that we can truly have an anchor in the midst of uncertainty, doubt, or hardship.
