A Word to the Wise from the Wise

What is it that makes an owl wise? What is it that makes the “wise men” or “magi” in the Christmas story wise? An exploration of Matthew 2:1-12 reveals that their diligent search for a king ended with an “epiphany experience.” They were prompted to worship a baby boy who was not only king of the Jews, but also king of the universe.
