Luke 15:11-32

He was lost and is found. Luke 15:24

In this third parable of lostness, Jesus describes two sons who become lost in different ways. When we consider the ways that each son experiences the loss of relationship with the father, we begin to identify when we ourselves need to be found by God and found in his compassionate working. At the conclusion of the parable, we are confronted with the consideration of which son we identify with the most and how we must "come to our senses" so that we may keep good relationship with God, our Father and foster healthy relationship with others who have become lost.
