Hello WEFC Family,
We are excited about worshiping together again as a church family! However, things will look a little bit different as we work hard to respect the Manitoba Government has put in place for churches.
Different, but not difficult!
But, no pressure only come if you are comfortable attending. We will still offer the Service online as per usual.
Please read the information below and then click the link at the end to reserve a spot in the building for this weekend!
WHAT TIME IS SERVICE ON SUNDAY
10:30AM - 11:45AM.
Beginning Sunday, March 14 we will have two identical services in the Multi-Purpose Room.
PLEASE SIGN UP FOR THE UPCOMING SERVICE
It is very important that you sign up in advance. There is a very real possibility that as attendance grows we may need to turn people away at the door if we hit our limits. Therefore, it is very important to sign up ahead of time; please don’t just assume you can walk up and attend. You are welcome to walk up, but we can’t guarantee a place for you. Thankfully we have Live Stream.
If you are having some difficulty signing up, please phone the office by Friday at 4:00pm, and we will get you registered. We will have you ticket here when you arrive.
IF YOU ARE UNWELL, WATCH THE SERVICE ONLINE
Please stay home and watch online if you or a member of your household:
Has had a fever in the past 14 days,
Shows any symptoms of COVID-19 (runny nose, cough, loss of taste or smell, sore throat, shortness of breath), or
Has been in contact with anyone who has tested positive for COVID-19
WHAT WE ARE DOING TO MAINTAIN SAFETY
Hand sanitizer is available at all of the entrances.
Our care taker team will be doing extra cleaning/sanitizing.
We are refraining from handshakes, hugging, fist-bumps, etc. for the time being.
Chairs will be set up individually.
WILL I NEED TO WEAR A MASK?
Since the province has now mandated the wearing of masks we are requiring all attenders (Gr. 4 and up - similar to our school system) in our building to wear a mask. Once you are seated in the Multi-Purpose Room you are free to remove your mask. However we ask you to replace it if you become engaged in a conversation and will be singing and leaving your seat. At all time we strongly encougrage physical distancing of 6ft.
WILL WE BE SINGING?
We require the wearing of masks if you choose to sing.
WHAT WILL THE SEATING LOOK LIKE?
The Multi-Purpose Room will have up to a maximum of 100 chairs spread out.
WILL YOU BE TAKING AN OFFERING?
We will not be passing any offering baskets, but they will be located at the exits and you can always continue with online giving by clicking here.
WILL WASHROOMS BE OPEN?
Yes, washrooms will be open.
WILL THE LIBRARY BE OPEN?
Sadly, not yet.
A NOTE ON VISITING:
When entering or exiting the building and when inside, please remember to practice proper physical distancing (6ft) with those around you. Any visiting that you wish to do we encourage you to do so outside following the service.
