Hello Church Family,
One of the verbs that has been used repeatedly during the Covid season is “PIVOT.” Miriam Webster, informs us that it means: “to adapt by adjusting something.”
THINGS THAT ARE PIVOTING
SUNDAY MORNING BREAKFAST
The barbecues after church were wonderful times of fellowship that were appreciated by many. Since the Sunday School Program was being delayed because of renovations, plans were made to continue building relationships with breakfasts before church on Sundays when there would be no Sunday School (Sept 12-Oct 10). Although the health measures are not totally clear with regard to breakfasts in church, in the interest of safety and respect for the spirit of the regulations, it has been decided to cancel the Sunday morning breakfasts.
We were looking forward to kicking off Kids Church this week, but this will have to wait one more week. We were making these plans under the assumption that the main washroom renovations would be completed before this Sunday. However, with the renovation not quite finished, we will have to delay the start of Kids Church by one week because of the temporary washroom situation. The Chapel will remain an overflow area for parents to bring their kids (if needed) and to watch the service. There will be an assortment of toys and activities available. Thank-you for your patience and understanding as we work to get various ministries running again in the midst of many renovations!"
