Dear WEFC church family,
We are so excited to welcome many more of you back to church, IN PERSON! The new public health orders, while not getting us back to our full capacity, will allow 150 people in the multi-purpose room this week for the service, and we are planning to have 2 services starting July 25th so we can have up to 300 people in attendance on a Sunday morning plus overflow into the chapel as needed. While we are thrilled by this news and look forward to filling these available spots to fellowship, worship, and learn together, in a way we haven’t been able to for months, we recognize there will still be those who cannot attend in person and the online services will continue as they have been.
We do encourage you to take advantage of this return to in person church, and remember to pack a picnic as well to hang out after the service outside and continue in fellowship and reconnecting with your church family. If you are unable to attend church but want to join the picnic you are also more than welcome to head over to the church around noon on Sunday to join the others on the lawn.
So this week, July 18th, we will have one service at 10:30am, with seats available on Eventbrite for 150 people, and a self serve picnic on the lawn after. Starting July 25th, we will have 2 services at 9:00am and 11:00am, with a picnic after the 11:00am service where the elder board will provide hotdogs and hamburgers, and you bring your own sides and drinks. During these times we want to reconnect with each other, and facilitate conversation about events from this past year, and hear your thoughts on church into the coming year.
Sign up for the services are now available on Eventbrite or on the church website.
It feels so great to be able to say, SEE YOU SOON.
