In Colossians 4:2-6 the Apostle Paul gives Christ followers some concise but serious instruction about what our goals in life should be. He says of primary importance should be enhancing our personal relationship with God made possible through a life of devoted, alert and thankful prayer. Secondly, serious priority should be given to relationships with other people specifically for the purpose of investing Gospel truth into them. Lastly Paul encourages us to evaluate our own actions so that we might live wisely and speak sensitively and graciously as we relate to the non-Christians that the Lord brings into our lives.
