Guest speaker today is Ron Koleba.
We may mumble (at times not very quietly) about the strictness, the holiness, the straightness, the hassle of what it means to follow God. So did he … and he was probably the chief musician in his day. No, he didn’t lead a rock band, but was the leader of the “church” of his time.
He had seen enough and the evidence was in: those who do not follow God have money a plenty, fun, good things, mouth off, couldn’t care less about God … and nothing happens; God’s doesn’t do anything about it. Experience was hard to argue with and that is what led him to question the wisdom of being a God-follower.
No, it is not foolish to walk in righteousness. Asaph found out why.
