Sometimes we live our lives in a state of obligation; where we feel “we have to” do something, be that with family, friends and even God. We are encouraged to look towards God with gratitude as He has done so much for us.

Psalm 50 is indeed a rich Psalm; challenging us to step up in areas of loving and following God and in our relationships with others.

And we are to be thankful. This is such an important practice and discipline for us to have. So be thankful!

Weekly reflection:

  1. Read Psalm 50 this week again
  2. Write a list of 10 gifts you have been given over your lifetime.
  3. Practice again to list 3 things you are thankful for each day: morning or evening
  4. Call or visit with someone and share your thankful lists.
