Hello Church!

I trust that yesterday, Sunday, was a good day; a good day of rest and a good day to celebrate Mother’s Day. One good thing coming out of the COVID 19 pandemic is that we are realizing how much of life and relationships we have been taking for granted. It was great to see the lengths that people went to honour their moms, as we heard of parades and family drive-by’s. So mom, we say thank you, and we honour you!

It was great to be together this weekend as a Church, albeit online and virtual, as we worshipped together and explored the encouragement of the Apostle Peter from his Letter written in 64 AD and how it can encourage us in 2020. The timeless Word of God is indeed living and active. I pray for you what the Apostle Peter wrote in 1 Peter 1:2c, “May God give you more and more grace and peace.” Then again he ended his letter in 5:12 & 14, “My purpose in writing is to encourage you and assure you that what you are experiencing  is truly part of God’s grace for you. Stand firm in His grace... Peace be with all of you who are in Christ.” I pray for grace and peace upon you and your family.

The June Quarterly edition of the “Our Daily Bread” Devotional Booklets are available to you at the Welcome Center at Church, in both regular and large print. The office is open Mon-Fri, 9:00am-4:30pm, so you may pop in and help yourself to a copy on the “Our Daily Bread.” Of course you can also receive the daily devotional to your inbox each day by simply going to www.ourdailybread.ca.

That should be it for this edition of Monday Musings. Be sure to check out this week’s Wednesday Wonderings as I will specifically be speaking to and encouraging mothers.

Have a wonderful week, and be sure to spend time with Jesus each day, allowing Him time to encourage you, strengthen you, and to give you peace.
