Who runs a world like this?

In Habakkuk 2, God reaffirms the fact that His justice will prevail in due time. There is a moral boomerang effect in which oppressors will be oppressed, the conquerors will be conquered, and the arrogant will be humbled. In verses 6 to 20, God announces “woe” on five sins which will inevitably be judged and punished. God’s justice in relation to sin functions the same way today, but thankfully, He has made provision for “the just to live by faith” (v.4).
