We sometimes struggle deciding if we have, or want, a place in the life of the church, or if the church should have a place in our lives. As we together study Ephesians 4:7-16 we will hear Paul making it very clear that the answer to such questioning is a resounding “yes.” As followers of Jesus we are designed to be connected, with purpose, the larger whole of the Bride of Christ. It is both astonishing and thrilling that God has chosen to include and involve each one of his children as an important part of this complex thing we call the body of Christ.
