Soup for Grace Point
December 7, 2017
"Soup puts the heart at ease, calms down the violence of hunger, and eliminates the tension of the day."
Grace Point, our congregation that meets on Sunday at 137 Euclid, serves soup after their evening Gatherings. Three ice-cream pails of soup are served each Sunday. Besides meeting the physical needs of those attending, this soup allows us to spend time visiting with many of the people we have developed relationships with throughout the week. It also gives us the opportunity to meet new people as we sit and eat together.
We are so grateful for all of the many volunteers who have selflessly made soup for us over the last few years. This ministry often goes un-noticed, but would be very missed if it were not done!
If you would like to get involved in this vital ministry, please contact Faye at the WEFC office or via email. You can commit to making one, two or three ice cream pails of soup as often as you like! Faye will be happy to schedule you in at a time that works well for all.
