| Currently the Ministry Team is comprised of six members: Chairperson Louise Friesen, Ben Hiebert, Betty Whitehouse, Don Reimer and Liz DeVries. The missions committee meets on a monthly basis. At present meetings are scheduled on the 3rd Monday of the month from 7-10 pm. Our meetings focus around two major elements—prayer and planning. We pray for our missionaries and upcoming missions events both inside and outside our church. As part of our planning, we review correspondence from our missionaries and supported mission agencies, evaluate missions related issues and plan both short term and long range missions events such as presentations, educational sessions and annual conferences. If you sense God leading you to become involved in Missions, either short or long term, and you would like to request that the church consider assisting you in the area of finances, please email the church at info@wefc.net to request a copy of the Missions Support Application Form and one will be sent to you. |
