EFree Kidz College
Efree Kidz College is a fun, nurturing nursery school program, for children ages 3 and 4, where children participate in a variety of songs, games, learning activities, crafts, and free play choices.
Each session is carefully planned to encourage children to develop their whole self through a variety of play and activity based learning that will promote social, academic, emotional, physical and moral development. We desire to work together with each family to make this a positive, enriching experience.
Our goal is to provide a safe and supportive environment where each child will feel loved, accepted and encouraged to learn more about themselves, and the world around them, develop skills for relating to others around them, develop self expression, acquire a variety of academic skills to support them in future learning, and learn more about God's love for them.
Each group of children attend two half day session each week, currently running Tuesday-Friday mornings, from September through the beginning of June.
ADVENTURER'S DAY CAMP
Adventurer's Day Camp is a Christian recreational program for kids 6-14 years of age that has provided safe high quality outdoor activities to Winnipeg children for over 20 years.
Adventurer's Day Camp is offered in one week segments (Monday to Friday) at wefc during the months of July and August. The program features exciting daytime fun events and one special overnighter.
HOURS OF OPERATION
Camp operates from 9:00 am to 4:30 pm. daily

Kidz Under Construction
(October - May)
Here at Winnipeg Evangelical Free Church we love children and we believe that they are very important in the life of our church. That is why we offer Kidz Under Construction.
Kidz Under Construction is a weekly program for girls and boys between the grades of 1-6, which takes place every Wednesday night from 6:30-8:00pm.
For the girls, the night starts with a Bible time where the girls hear stories from the Bible that emphasize Godly characteristics that each girl can pursue. Then, in the second half of the evening the girls participate in one of the following activities: gym, craft or cooking.
For the boys, they start off with gym time or workshop time. This is followed by a bible teaching time later in the evening.
It is our desire that all children who attend this program will have fun, grow in character and learn more about God. Nursery
The Nursery is available during both services and is intended to be a clean, safe environment while parents are taking part in different activities on Sunday morning. Our volunteers have a heart to serve in this area. Our Nursery is full of toys, change tables, nursing areas, bathroom facilities and a TV monitor to watch the service as it happens.
Toddler Room (15 months up to Age 3)
Care is provided for toddlers during the Kidz Church portion of the 10:30 AM service. The Toddler Room is a clean, safe and fun place for the children to be cared for while the parents enjoy the latter half of the service. It is staffed by adult volunteers, made up mainly of the parents of the toddlers, as well as teen volunteers who enjoy getting down on the floor and entertaining the little ones. The Toddler Room runs on a pager system, enabling the volunteer staff to be able to contact the parents if necessary no matter where they are in the building. The room has direct access to bathroom facilities and has a TV monitor to watch the service as it happens.
ADVENTURELAND (Children’s Sunday School) and Kidz Church
We want our children to learn about God: that He is exciting, imaginative, and loves them. Much of our children’s value system is determined during their younger years. That is why we treat them as a group of young people, not a babysitting service. We teach the Bible in a fun and exciting way through different activities and stories that encourages our children to live life to the full for God.
Children’s Sunday School is at 9 AM for Toddlers to Grade 6.
Kidz Church is at 10:30 AM and they are dismissed from the main auditorium halfway through the second service for Age 3 to Grade 3. |
