 WEFC is a member of the Evangelical Free Church of Canada conference. The Evangelical Free Church of Canada is an association of some 140 churches joined together by common purposes, principles and practices. It is a partner with more that 2000 other Free Churches in 14 countries. In addition, it is one of 18 national fellowships belonging to the International Federation of Free Evangelical Churches. "Evangelical" refers to our commitment to the authority of Scripture as being inerrant in the original autographs and the only safe and sufficient guide to faith and practice. "Free" refers to our form of church government as being congregational.
